Octagonal Blender

The octagonal blender is a well-organized and adaptable amalgamation mechanism for mixing and lubrication method of dry granule consistently. Two third of the quantity of the pharmaceutical octagonal blender is filled to make good mixing. The octagonal mixer gives best effect for granule owing to very slow speed and octagon shape of container. It can be used for cosmetic products, chemical pharmaceutical, and food etc. In octagon shape blender, granules comes from all sides owing to the octagonal shape of the product container, hence obligation of rpm is fewer The pharmaceutical octagonal mixer is appropriate mostly for crystalline and granular type material. This sort of material gets enough constant progress owing to their shape if container has only slow development and will results in high-quality of blending / lubrication of granules.

  • Octagonal blender is used for gentle blending of dry powders / granules. The Blending takes place at low to medium speed during operation, depending on process requirement. The Octagonal blender (10 Kg – 10000 Kgs) consists of an octagonal shaped blending vessel with Rectangular lid for material charging and butterfly valve in discharge for material discharge. Octagonal blender has adjustable baffles provided. All contact parts made from SS 316 and Non-contact part made from SS 304.Gasket made from food grade silicone material. All internal and external surface of octagonal blender is mirror finished.
  • The general arrangement of Octagonal blender has a drive unit consisting of a Motor, Gear box and sprocket chain arrangement mounted in ‘A’ – shaped frame with S.S. Covers. All functions of the equipment are controlled and governed by switch provided or HMI. The blender drive unit has been provided with electrical interlock with octagonal blender area entry by means of lever safety bar with proxy switch. This interlock shall prevent the operation of blender if the lever safety bar entry is open.
  • Material managing in Octagonal Blender mixer is through Bin charging or a Vacuum charging arrangement.
  • Bin charging arrangement ensures grime free closed system for Charging and Discharging of result.
  • Slow speed mixer with gentle amalgamation of Dry granule.
  • Optional in built in space intend. No external PTS necessary.
  • The baffles are eliminating with amalgamation profile analysis obtainable.
  • Pneumatically actuate valves for dust free transfers.

Double Cone Blender

Double Cone Blender from SP Pharma is very efficient for mixing dry powder and granules to manufacture products for different industries such as pharmaceutical, food, chemical, cosmetics, detergents, fertilizers, plastics etc. Our cone blender ensures proper mixing of powder & granules. We specially design our blenders in such a way that you could avoid the generation of dust from double cone blender. Our skilled professionals has designed the interior of the blender in such a manner that it facilitates gravity discharge and eliminates the formation of dead spaces. With polished surface and no edges or corners, you can easily clean the machine manually or automatically.

  • The conical shape at both ends enables uniform mixing and easy discharge.
  • All contact parts are made out of stainless 304 or 316 quality material, as required by customer.
  • Maximum care has been taken to ensure safe operation of the unit.
  • Manual rotating facility with hand wheel for inching. The same will be provided with ss cover & limit switch. ( In 200 Kgs. & above model )
  • Two nos. of safety road will be provided at back side. ( One LH side & one RH side )
  • Suitable size of butter fly valve at one end of the cone provided for material discharge & hole with openable cover provided at other end of the cone for material charging & cleaning.
  • One shaft with 04 nos. of fixed buffels with mirror polished provided inside the cone.
  • Cone will be mirror polished from the inside & outside & structure will be matt polished.
  • All moving parts covered with SS304 covers.
  • Safety guards made from SS304 pipes provided in front of the m/c with limit switch.
  • Panel fabricated from SS304 material with facility of three phase indication, D.O.L. tarter, digital timer & Amp. Meter.
  • As per customer requirement machine will be provided with left side drive or with right side drive.

  • General structure made out of SS304 and Polished to the matt / mirror finish ( as required by you ) in GMP Model.
  • All safety guards & covers made out of SS304 in GMP Model.
    Hand wheel will be provided for manual tilting of cone.
  • Safety guards provided with limit switch to not start the machine when safety guards are not in proper position.

This adaptable and versatile machine is a very effective machine for mixing dry powder, granules, or any heavy and abrasive material. What facilitates quick functionality is the timer function. This function makes it more precise. The shape of the cone and the multi shearing plate aid in blending and also easy residual removing. The machines carry the option of adding more paddle-shaped baffles for better blending. The Double cone blenders are supplied with Intensifier bars to allow for de-agglomeration if required. This enables any loosely adhered clumps of powder to be broken apart, thereby maintaining consistency. There is a fire motor attached which prevents the risk of any accidents. When it comes to output delivery, the double cone blender delivers high uniformity in blending especially when the mixing units vary in bulk density. The stainless steel body and its strong nature ensure durability and less wear and tear.
